Full Body Strength Pilates Mat Class

1 hour Group class : 📍Performers UK (22 Bank Street, Inverness IV1 1QU)

My classes are built on foundational principles to incorporate a range of exercise sequences working the entire body and designed to challenge you. Deepen your understanding of the Pilates method while improving your strength, control and overall body awareness.

Using different props such as foam rollers, bands and balls - all amazing tools to create extra feedback and assistance in getting deeper into the movement.

Expect a strong abdominal sequence, foot work, glutes, hips, shoulder mobility, spinal mobility and a creative take on some of the classical Pilates repertoire as well as some interpretations of the apparatus work.

Each class offers modifications and progressions suitable for beginner to intermediate so you are motivated and engaged as you continue to refine your practice.

All mats and props are provided.

Block bookings are not required, pay as you go per individual class.

NOTE:

  • CANCELLATIONS : Kindly cancel your booking at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the class, for which you will receive a credit to use at a future date. Cancellations within 12 hours will incur the full cost of the class booked. Class bookings can be cancelled online by logging into your account.
  • PREGNANCY: If you are currently expecting or under 6 weeks postpartum please contact me directly before booking this class
  • INJURIES / HEALTH CONCERNS: It is essential to inform me at the time of booking of any injuries or health concerns you have which may affect your ability to perform certain exercises.

Beach Stabilise & Stretch Class

1hour Group class : 📍Nairn East Beach, (Nairn)

Do you find yourself waking up stiff after a killer week of workouts or long days at the office? Or looking to increase flexibility, mobility and release tension in your body? Then this class is perfect for you.

Bring your own mat or towel, we meet at the Nairn East beach at 9.15am. Expect dynamic stretches and steady, controlled movements, carefully re-aligning the body. Combined with breathwork this class will help relieve tight muscles, improve suppleness and leave you feeling decompressed and uplifted.

This class it is suitable for both men and women. Teenagers over the age of 14 joining their parents are welcome too.


Pay as you go per class. * Bring your own Mat or beach towel and water bottle *

Connecting the Feet to the Pelvic Floor

2.5 hr Group session : 📍The Treehouse (Scottish Canals - Carsegate Rd, Inverness, IV3 8EX)

Can foot health influence the functioning of the Pelvic Floor?

We will have a look at the functional link between the feet and the Pelvic floor.

How is breath the connector of both?

This workshop would be highly beneficial for you to attend if you ;

- Want to improve your breathing patterns (e.g. shallow breathing or holding your breath either during movement or in day to day activities),

- Experience pelvic floor dysfunction (such as weakness or tension),

- Struggle with your core connection or building core strength,

- Always have your shoulders creeping up and never seem relax them no matter how much you try,

- Simply wish to learn more about your body, how a 'reset' can support function and assist with relieving physical tension.

You will leave this workshop and functional class with new found knowledge on how every structure in the body is connected, and learn a few tools you can use to look for this connection in your own movement practice.

What will my booking include?

- A 2.5 hour immersive workshop blending practical education with a functional Pilates class

- Mats and all props used during the workshop

- Snacks (mixed savoury platter + fruits)

- Beverages (fresh pressed juices)

What to expect?

- We will begin with a group information session - moving whilst learning (practical education) guided by myself.

- A mid-session break with snacks/beverages along with some time to connect and ask questions in a informal setting.

- We will then move on to a functional Pilates class, weaving together all the information we covered during the workshop.

- The workshop will then close with a short recap and reflection

What will I need?

Everything required for the workshop will be provided on the day.

Any dietary requirements must be notified when booking.

Any medical conditions or injuries/pathologies must be notified when booking.
