Small Group Bridge Mixed Apparatus Class
TUE OCT 20, 10 - 10:50 AM BST (TUE OCT 20, 10 - 10:50 AM BST)

Reformer/Wunda Chair 50 min Pilates Small Group Class : 📍Crown, Inverness

Using the Reformer and Wunda Chair, build on from your Foundations class as you continue to develop breath patterns, strength, stability and deep core control. Bridge is designed to help you continue to refine your technique, progress your movement and build greater confidence.

The pace of this class sits between Foundations and Progressions. There is less time spent introducing the basic Reformer set-up and fundamental principles than in Foundations, but more time to settle into each exercise than in Progressions.

This makes Bridge a natural next step if you have developed confidence in Foundations but are not quite ready for the smoother or quicker transitions and increased challenge of Progressions. It is equally suited to more experienced clients already in Progressions who simply want a slightly slower, more considered Pilates session on a specific day or after a small break from Pilates.

Bridge is best suited for you, if: (please read before booking)

  • You have already attended Foundations and are comfortable with the basic Reformer set-up, Pilates terminology and fundamental exercises.

  • You are ready to move on from Foundations but don't yet feel ready for the pace or increased challenge of Progressions.

  • You would like more time to work on your technique, control, breathing and alignment.

  • You already attend Progressions but would prefer a slightly slower, more measured session on a specific day.

  • You are returning after a short break and would like to reconnect with and refine your Pilates practice before booking back into Progressions.

If you have previous Reformer Pilates experience, you may want to begin with at least one Bridge class before booking Progressions when joining us. As a general guide, if you have previously attended at least 5-8 Reformer Pilates sessions elsewhere and have not had a significant break, this may be a suitable starting point. If you have had a few months break or have not had a consistent practice on the Reformer please start with at least one Foundations class.

If you are completely new to Pilates and the Reformer, please begin with Foundations.

If you are unsure of the booking process, which class is right for you, please contact me directly so I can recommend a class that will suit you best or answer your questions.

For convenience classes are Pay as you go. No block bookings or memberships are required.

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION:

CANCELLATIONS:

I kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hrs notice if you need to cancel your booking. This gives another client the opportunity to book your place.

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hrs before your class will receive a class credit.

  • Class credits are valid for 60 days from the date of issue and will automatically expire if not redeemed within this period.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hrs of your class are considered a late cancellation and the full class fee will apply.

As classes are limited to just three participants, late cancellations or non-attendance often mean another client misses the opportunity to attend. Your consideration and understanding helps ensure everyone has a fair chance to book a place.

Bookings can be cancelled online or on the Booking App by logging into your account.

BOOKING CHANGES:

If you need to move your booking to another available class, please contact me and I'll be happy to help where possible.

Please note that requests to change a booking within 24 hrs of your scheduled class are treated as a late Cancellation, as the original space is unlikely to be filled at short notice.

INJURIES OR HEALTH CONDITIONS (past or present):

Please let me know before attending if you have any injuries, medical conditions or health concerns that may affect your participation.

GRIP SOCKS:

Grip socks are required for all classes for both hygiene and safety. If you don't already have a pair, they are available to purchase in the studio.

PREGNANCY & POSTNATAL:

Unfortunately, the classes are not suitable during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy or until you are at least 6 weeks postnatal (or longer if advised by your healthcare professional).

BEFORE YOUR CLASS:

You will receive an email before your class with everything you need to know, including studio information, what to bring and what to expect. Please take a moment to read this information before attending, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
