At Pilates with Adele your session reflects the quality of the teaching, the size of the class, the equipment you are working on and the experience that goes into creating your programme.
Group Mat Class
£10 per person | 60 minutes | 18 clients
A Classical-inspired class that builds strength, control, coordination and flow through a progressive sequence of Pilates exercises.
The Mat is an important part of the Pilates system and complements the work we do on the apparatus. While the equipment provides spring resistance and support to help us develop connections within the body, the Mat asks you to find and maintain those connections using your own body.
Small Group Classes
£24 per person | 50 minutes | Maximum 3 clients
Small group classes are intentionally limited to just three people, allowing you to enjoy the energy of practising alongside others while still receiving individual observation, guidance and corrections throughout your session.
Duet 1:2 private session
£34 per person | 2 clients
A semi-private session for two people, booked as one appointment and tailored to your individual needs and goals, offering more personalised attention and access to a wider range of Pilates apparatus.
Private 1:1 Pilates appointment
£48 initial assessment session | £45 per session thereafter
A fully individual approach to the Pilates system, with sessions tailored to your needs and the ideal option if you have specific goals you want to work on or have injuries requiring more individualised attention. Sessions offer across the apparatus rather than being limited to a single piece of equipment.
What Your Session Includes
Comprehensive teaching
I am a 500+ hour comprehensively trained Pilates teacher, having completed an extensive training programme over almost two years across the full Pilates system rather than training on the Reformer alone.
My education included the Mat and all the Pilates apparatus, alongside anatomy, injuries/pathologies, movement principles and extensive observation and teaching practice within a studio environment, supported by experienced teachers and mentors.
With around 8 years of Pilates teaching experience, two decades within the health and fitness industry and ongoing workshops and continuing education, learning remains an important part of my teaching.
I am also continuing my education within the Classical Pilates method, further developing my understanding of the original system and how its exercises connect and progress.
A system, rather than a collection of workouts
Pilates was designed as an interconnected system, so classes are programmed with progression in mind. Exercises, concepts and movement patterns introduced in one session provide the foundations for what follows, allowing your practice to develop as your strength, control, coordination and understanding improve.
When you attend consistently, you are not simply starting another unrelated workout each week. You are building a Pilates practice, whether you join Mat or Reformer classes or attend private sessions.
A personal approach
With a maximum of only three clients in a group class, I am able to observe each person while still allowing the class to move together. This is particularly important in Pilates, where the quality and intention of the movement matter just as much as completing the exercise.
I personally connect with every new client before their first class and follow up after their first visit. This gives me an opportunity to get to know you, understand your previous experience and answer any questions.
As the studio is intentionally small, I get to know the people who practise here and can better understand how their practice develops over time.
Professional Pilates apparatus
The quality of equipment you practise on matters more than you may think. The studio has invested in BASI Systems apparatus, chosen for its engineering, adjustability, quality and feel.
The rest of the studio apparatus has also been carefully selected from reputable brands for the high quality of movement and experience it provides.
A thoughtfully designed environment
Every detail of the studio has been considered, from the apparatus to the use of colour, lighting, layout and amount of visual information within the room.
Modern life asks our brains to process an extraordinary amount of information. Pilates asks us for concentration, coordination, precision and awareness of how the body is moving.
The studio has therefore been designed to feel calm and uncluttered, giving you space to arrive, focus and concentrate on your own practice without unnecessary visual or mental distraction.
Regular Attendance Incentives
Pilates works best as a consistent practice. For clients who attend regularly, Consistency Rewards are available based on eligible sessions attended during the month.
These may include class discounts or savings to use the following month and are simply a way of recognising regular practice. Consistency Rewards are offered in addition to our standard pricing and are not a separate pricing structure.
A welcoming community
Many of our clients practise with us regularly, creating a small and welcoming studio community where familiar faces become part of the experience.
Whether you are completely new to Pilates or developing an established practice, the emphasis in our studio remains focused on the quality of movement, consistency over time and individual progress in your practice.
