Can foot health influence the functioning of the Pelvic Floor?
We will have a look at the functional link between the feet and the Pelvic floor.
How is breath the connector of both?
This workshop would be highly beneficial for you to attend if you ;
- Want to improve your breathing patterns (e.g. shallow breathing or holding your breath either during movement or in day to day activities),
- Experience pelvic floor dysfunction (such as weakness or tension),
- Struggle with your core connection or building core strength,
- Always have your shoulders creeping up and never seem relax them no matter how much you try,
- Simply wish to learn more about your body, how a 'reset' can support function and assist with relieving physical tension.
You will leave this workshop and functional class with new found knowledge on how every structure in the body is connected, and learn a few tools you can use to look for this connection in your own movement practice.
What will my booking include?
- A 2.5 hour immersive workshop blending practical education with a functional Pilates class
- Mats and all props used during the workshop
- Snacks (mixed savoury platter + fruits)
- Beverages (fresh pressed juices)
What to expect?
- We will begin with a group information session - moving whilst learning (practical education) guided by myself.
- A mid-session break with snacks/beverages along with some time to connect and ask questions in a informal setting.
- We will then move on to a functional Pilates class, weaving together all the information we covered during the workshop.
- The workshop will then close with a short recap and reflection
